I know, right?! I just couldn’t resist creating a board surrounding this sultry bestseller. Who doesn’t love the perfect shade of demure pink enveloped in a warm Steele? Enter Edward—I mean Robert Pattinson—as Christian Grey. Look at those steely grey eyes. Gorge.
It’s enough to make me blush...seriously.
It’s enough to make me blush...seriously.
Here's how it all goes down:
The groom and his men will enjoy an afternoon of rowing before getting outfitted in their custom grey suits for the evening. A feminine yet classic dress is perfect for this intimate celebration of close friends and family under a pergola of branches and foliage. It only makes sense that well-known Portland designer Sarah Seven dons the bridesmaids in the perfect blush confection.
As we know, Mr. Grey loves to “woo” his lady (me) with extravagant gifts so what’s more perfect than diamond drop earrings and a love letter that rivals Voltaire? Sigh….
At dusk, guests will be greeted by champagne and artisan cheeses before they take their seat for a 7 course meal (prepared by some world renowned chef that Christian will obviously fly in.) Following congratulatory toasts, dancing commences under the stars—featuring a special guest appearance by Grammy award winning artist Adele to serenade the couple's first dance.
On a design note: I adore how the sepia and champagne tones bridge the gap of becoming overly feminine with the right amount of amber and gold to play year round AND at any time of the day.
Simply stunning if I do say so myself, I’ll toast my Bollinger to that and dream about my Christian Grey.
